We took the cheapest single-site plan from every host on Google's first page for "cheap hosting india", plus the big brands, and read each one through to the cart: the price for one year, the renewal, the disk and the email. Prices are before tax.

What the tables say
There are hosting plans in India for ₹300 a year. They hold 150 MB to 1 GB, which a WordPress site with a few months of photos will outgrow, and most leave out email on your domain. Fine for a test page, not for a shop or a business card site.
The big brands' ₹69 needs three to five years paid upfront. Buy one year and you pay ₹1,668 to ₹2,028 plus GST, then ₹229 to ₹409 a month at renewal. Over three years that is two to three times what HostKarle Basic costs.
How to compare any cheap host yourself
Ignore the per-month banner. Find the price for one year, then the renewal price (usually in the small print or the cart), and add up three years. Then check two things the banner never shows: how much disk you get and whether email on your domain is included.

What cheap hosting usually cuts, and what we kept
A low price has to come from somewhere. At many hosts it comes out of the plan itself. These are the things we refused to remove from the cheapest plan.
Where the savings usually come from
- A tiny disk. 150 MB to 10 GB fills up after a year of WordPress uploads, and the upgrade is the plan you should have bought.
- No email. Mailboxes on your domain are left out or sold as a separate "business email" product.
- The renewal. A low first term paid for by a renewal two to four times higher.
- Overcrowded servers. Too many accounts on one machine, so every site on it slows down together.

What is the cheapest web hosting in India?
It depends on what you need it to hold. On 21 October 2026 the lowest one-year prices we found were around ₹300–₹550, but those plans have 150 MB to 1 GB of disk and often no email on your domain. For a real business site with email, compare the cost over three years including renewals: HostKarle Basic is ₹1,764 for three years (₹49 a month) with 70 GB SSD and 10 mailboxes, and renews at that same price.
Is ₹49 a month the real price, or an intro offer?
It is the real price. ₹49 a month is the Basic plan paid three years at a time (₹1,764). When those three years end, it renews at ₹1,764 again. Paid yearly it is ₹99 a month (₹1,188 a year), and month-to-month it is ₹149. All three renew at the price you started on.
Why do other hosts advertise ₹69 a month and then charge more?
The ₹69 figure usually needs 36 to 60 months paid upfront. Buy one year and Hostinger was ₹1,908, MilesWeb ₹1,788 and BigRock ₹1,668 on 21 October 2026, plus 18% GST, and their renewals were ₹229 to ₹409 a month. Always check the one-year price and the renewal price, not the banner.
Are there any taxes or fees on top?
We do not add GST or any payment fee, so Basic paid yearly is ₹1,188 in total and Basic for three years ₹1,764. There is no setup fee.
Do you sell cheap web hosting with cPanel?
No. Every HostKarle plan uses DirectAdmin, the main cPanel alternative. Is cheap hosting safe for a business website?

Is there free web hosting in India?
Yes, free hosts exist, but they usually show ads, use a subdomain instead of your own domain, give no business email and can suspend sites with little warning. For anything you want customers to trust, a paid plan from ₹49 a month is the safer start.
Can I pay by UPI?
